What this covers

This policy covers serpish.com, the tools on it, and the SERPish newsletter. SERPish is run by one person, Emily Yetzer, who is the data controller. The tools call a separate backend at app.serpish.com, which is covered by this policy too.

What the tools do with your input

Whatever you paste into a tool is sent to an AI model to produce your output, and to whichever search or platform APIs that tool needs. It is used for nothing else. It is not used to train any model — where a provider’s default terms would allow training on API input, that setting is turned off. Without an account, nothing about a run is kept once the result is returned: no copy of your input or output, no record of either in application or error logs, and nothing held in a queue or cache beyond the request itself.

Anonymous use

You can use the free tools without an account and without giving an email address. The starting allowance of 25 credits is one-time and is tracked with a first-party cookie holding your balance. If that cookie is missing, a hashed version of your IP address is used as a fallback, salted per month so it is not a stable long-term identifier; the raw address is never stored. A separate hourly limit counts requests per IP to stop automated abuse. Because this is deliberately loose, clearing cookies on a different network can hand you a fresh starting allowance — that is the trade for not asking you to sign up. Monthly credits belong to an account, so they are counted against the account record rather than a cookie.

If you subscribe, your email address is stored for one purpose: sending you the newsletter. It is not sold, shared, or used to build a profile, and it never goes to an advertiser. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the address.

Accounts and payment

A Pro account stores your email address, your credit balance, and your run history so you can return to past results. You can delete any single run, or your whole history, at any time; deletion is real deletion rather than a hidden flag, and it reaches backups within thirty days. Payment is handled by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe and are never seen or stored by SERPish, which keeps only the subscription status Stripe reports back.

Analytics

SERPish uses aggregate analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. There is no advertising network, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site or cross-device tracking — nothing here follows you to other sites, and nothing is sold or shared with data brokers. Anything you paste into a tool is never sent to analytics.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. With a Pro account you can do the deletion yourself from the account page without asking anyone. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you these rights in law, along with the right not to be discriminated against for using them, and SERPish does not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you are in the UK or the EU, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you equivalent rights. The same process applies wherever you are, and there is no charge for it.
